I consider art to be the expression of one's imagination through any type of media. A work of art aims to awaken or challenge the senses of its audience. However, the diversity of preferences, interests and backgrounds etc. among an audience makes the "success" or beauty of a work of art entirely subjective.
I chose to include one of my favorite pieces as an example of art: Pablo Picasso's "Child Playing with a Toy Truck."
