1-Jaclyn Ponish: What is Art?

The definition of "Art" is different to everyone but to me the word "Art" means an expression of self whether it is brought about by emotion or reason. It is not only paintings, drawings, or sculpture, but also acting, dancing, singing, playing an instrument, poetry, and whatever other method one uses to get one's message to the audience. The images I have chosen are some of my personal favorites: "New York at Night" by Max Weber and "Rainy Midnight" by Childe Hassam.
